Kee Business College –Newport News, VA
Kee Business College, formerly known as College of Hampton Road, was founded in 1941. The school name was changed to Kee Business College in 1996, and the Chesapeake branch campus of Kee Business College – Newport News, Virginia, was established in 1999. The school is one of more than ninety-five colleges and institutions nationwide owned and operated by Corinthian Colleges, Inc.
The school follows an open-enrollment system. Individuals may apply up to one year in advance of a scheduled class start. All applicants are required to complete a personal interview with an admissions representative and complete an application for enrollment. A high school diploma or GED credential is required. (Students without high school diplomas or general education degrees (GEDs) may attend Kee under the Ability to Benefit (ATB) provisions.)
The College participates in various programs: Federal Pell, Federal Family Educational Loan (FFEL), Federal Direct Student Loan (FDSL), Perkins, Federal Work-Study, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity (FSEOG), and veterans’ benefits. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.
