		Club Wellness "Family Fitness and Health for Life" (formally Brown & Associates) Virginia Beach Implements a student mentorship program (HUSH) - linking Salem High School students and Hampton University students and focusing on academic support, career opportunities and behavioral support. Provides training sessions for students and mentors. Creates mentorship experiences that include group programs, individual interactions and college visitations designed to enhance positive student performance.
		ERM Media Virginia Beach Mr. Robert Winstin, President, ERM Media. - Instructional Artist-In-Residence, Visual and Performing Arts Academy New partner: 2004-2005 Provides support for the Visual and Performing Arts Academy Recognized as a 2004-2005 Model Partnership by the VBCPS
		Frame Up Gallery Princess Anne Rd Frames Salem's certificates, pictures, newspaper articles, and memorabilia eloquently displayed throughout the school and community. Provides recognition programs for teachers and students throughout the year. Displays student art work at the Frame Up business location Provides teacher classes (Apple requirements)
		Glenwood Elementary School Ms. Stuhlman - Principal Virginia Beach "Reading Buddies Program" Mrs. J. Bateman - Project Coordinator New partner - 2003 Salem High School provides mentors and tutors to selected kindergarten students who are in the early stages of learning to read.
		Liberty Tax Service "Latino Association for Personal Success" The partnership agreement was signed on 12/8/2010. Present: Dr. Robertson, Ms. Martee Pierson, Mrs. Jenkins, Mrs. Jones, Mr. Muñoz, Ms. Fortín, and Jonathan Arboleda Location: SIS Office Partner goals: Support student achievement by providing real-life input on fiscal and financial responsibilities students will face in the future, and motivate them to begin thinking “today” about leadership, entrepreneurship and the importance of planning for the future. Provide “shadowing” opportunities for students to become aware of the Corporate Hispanic Initiative, the Una Familia Sin Fronteras Foundation, to become familiar with the daily processes at the corporate level and to provide students with the option to experience live Spanish educational radio show.
		"Mentor Program" Mr. Charles Johnson - SHS National Honor Society Sponsor New program 2004-2005 SHS National Honor Society students assist elementary school children with learning skills to help them do well on their SOL tests and provide encouragement for students to do well in school. SHS students also initiated the “Growing Gators” program designed to provide a “fun” learning environment for pre-schoolers.
		Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron TWO SIX (Formally Helicopter Combat Support Squadron SIX) Virginia Beach Provides tutoring for students in a variety of disciplines Provides quest speakers for classes and clubs Provides special demonstrations for classes (Helicopter fly-in for physics, math classes) Provides staff development/training. CPR classes available Offers field trip programs Assists with student schedules Contributes to Teacher of the Year and Staff Person of the Year recognition. Works closely with the ROTC program at SHS
		HITS Virginia Beach Jody L. Cox, II SHS liaision: Eva Roupas - Coordinator, Visual and Performing Arts New partner - 2006 Provides apprentiships/internships/job shadowing for students. Provides equipment/services/experience for performances.
		Jostens, Inc. Virginia Beach Provides presentations on careers in business and careers in sales, goal setting, marketing skills, and the job interview process. Promotes and provides teacher and student recognition programs. Contributes to Teacher of the Year and Staff Person of the Year recognition.
		Junior Achievement of Greater Hampton Roads New partner - 2005 Provides guest speakers, instructors Implements “JA Titan’s skills program Provides student and staff manuals for the “JA Titan’s” program Recognizes the Teacher of Year and Staff Person of the Year at annual reception Collaborates with Bank of America to sponsor "The Intern" Success Skills Day
